• “Atikler” brand was founded by Sami Atik and Osman Atik. Natural hazelnut kernel production commenced in a hazelnut cracking unit located in Ünye.

• Exported its first product in only the first year of its establishment.

• A modern hazelnut cracking unit was established in Unye with a 25.000 ton natural hazelnut kernel production capacity annually.

• Dost Fındık LLC was established to commence the production of processed hazelnuts. The second generation of Atik family was appointed to the top management along with the founders.

• The state of the art hazelnut processing unit was established with a 25.000 ton processed hazelnut production capacity annually.

• The 2.000 m2 warehouse was established for the long-term storage of in-shell hazelnuts.
• The quality of Dost Fındık was approved as the company was certified ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System.

• All activities relating to hazelnut production were merged under the moniker of Dost Fındık.

• The automation system was established for the sorting of natural hazelnut kernels in the cracking unit: two laser sorters were installed.
• The quality of Dost Fındık was reached global standards as the company certified International Food Standard (IFS) and British Retail Consortium (BRC).
• The capacity of the processing unit was increased by 40% after the establishment of the new production line.
