     Dost Fındık owns two facilities located in Ünye, the central Blacksea Region of Turkey: the hazelnut cracking facility and the hazelnut processing facility.

     Dost Fındık has demonstrated its commitment in quality with certificates such as ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System, International Food Standard (IFS) and British Retail Consortium (BRC).

     The cracking facility is established in 1995 where the natural hazelnut production is carried out. The plant has 3.500 m2 closed area with a 25.000 ton production capacity annually. Alongside the utilization of the state of art laser sorting technology, the kernels are also manually inspected by trained personnel, then which comply with the quality standards and customer requirements.

 

     The processing facility is established in 2006 where the processed hazelnut production is carried out. The plant has 5.500 m2 closed area with a 25.000 ton production capacity annually. The raw material passes through two different roasters, optical sorters and metal detectors, which is only then ready for the packaging process.
